Jan. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Toshiba Corp. agreed to acquire a 26 percent stake in UEM India Private Ltd., a water and wastewater management company.
India Value Fund Advisors will continue to own a majority of the venture, according to a statement today from Toshiba, IVFA, and UEM Group. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Toshiba has been Japan’s leading manufacturer of electrical systems for water supply and sewer facilities for more than 40 years, according to the statement.
