Jan. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce named Joe Kostandoff head of syndication for equity capital markets at its investment-banking unit to replace Scott Smith, who’s left the firm.
Tyler Swan was appointed head of execution for equity capital markets, the Toronto-based firm said today in an internal memo. Kostandoff and Swan report to Benoit Lauze, who was named head of equity capital markets.
Dan Nowlan, former co-head of equity capital markets with Smith, left the firm in November. Lauze, who was head of investment banking in Quebec, relocated to Toronto after Nowlan’s move to become head of equity capital markets origination.
