Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Alstom SA, the French maker of power equipment, won contracts worth about 400 million euros ($546 million) to supply and install wind turbines at two projects in Brazil’s northeastern state of Piaui.
The ECO 122 turbines will be delivered between 2015 and 2017, the Levallois-Perret, France-based company said today in a statement. The Caldeirao Grande I and II projects are owned by the local holding company Queiroz Galvao SA and have a combined capacity of 400 megawatts.
