Dec. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The Colorado Rockies reached a three-year, $16.5 million deal with free-agent relief pitcher Boone Logan, who spent the past four seasons with the New York Yankees, MLB.com reported.
MLB.com, citing an unidentified person in Major League Baseball, said the 29-year-old Logan will sign a contract with the Rockies after he passes a physical exam.
The left-handed Logan appeared in 256 games over the past four seasons with the Yankees, posting a 19-7 record and one save in 176 innings. He also has pitched for the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves.
