Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Veolia Eau France told worker representatives on Nov. 28 that it would open talks on about 700 voluntary departures, the company said in a statement today.
Veolia Eau France expects a reduction of 400 jobs through attrition in 2014 after 500 in 2013, the company said in an e-mailed statement.
The company plans to add 500 jobs by bringing in-house some services that are currently contracted out.
