Dec. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the installer of more wind turbines than any other manufacturer, won four orders totaling 59 megawatts from Eolus Vind AB in Sweden.
“These projects reaffirm the strong relationship between Eolus and Vestas,” Vestas Northern Europe President Klaus Steen Mortensen said today in a statement on the Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer’s website. Vestas has now had more than 400 megawatts of orders from Eolus, the company said.
The orders, all in southern Sweden, comprise about 18 megawatts of turbines for the Skalleberg plant, 13 megawatts for the Ramsnaes farm, 14 megawatts for the Mungseroed project and 13 megawatts for the Alered plant.
