Dec. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Canadian Solar Inc. supplied 8.7 megawatts of equipment for a project in Mexico’s Durango state.
The ground-mounted TAI-I project is being developed by EOSOL Energy de Mexico and is expected to be opened in the first quarter of next year, Guelph, Ontario-based Canadian Solar said today in a statement. It may be expanded to more than 200 megawatts in two years.
Spain’s TSK Electronica & Electricidad SA installed the panels which will power about 8,000 Mexican homes, according to the statement.
