Nov. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will miss the rest of the National Basketball Association season after having knee surgery today.
The NBA’s Most Valuable Player in the 2010-11 season, Rose tore the meniscus in his right knee last week, the team said on its website. He averaged 15.9 points and 4.3 assists in 10 games this season.
Rose missed all of last season while rehabilitating a torn ligament in his left knee.
