Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Cia. de Saneamento Basico do Estado de Sao Paulo, Brazil’s biggest water utility, posted a 31 percent increase in third-quarter net income to 475 million reais.
Profit compares with 361.8 million reais a year earlier, the Sao Paulo-based company said in a regulatory filing. Sabesp, as the company is known, was expected to post adjusted net income of 490.7 million reais, according to analysts’ estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
