Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Royal Bank of Canada, the country’s largest lender, hired Randall Stanicky and David Francis as managing directors to expand coverage of U.S. health-care companies at its investment bank.
Stanicky joined in New York as lead analyst for the specialty and generic pharmaceuticals group of RBC Capital Markets, the Toronto-based firm said today in an e-mailed statement. Stanicky has 14 years of experience, and previously covered health care for Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Citigroup Global Asset Management.
Francis, a former managing director at Jefferies Group LLC, joined RBC’s Nashville, Tennessee, office, where he covers health-care information technology and distribution services, the company said. Francis, who has more than 20 years of experience, was last at JAAG Group, a research and advisory firm where he was founder and managing partner.
