Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Hulu LLC, the video-streaming site owned by three media companies, named Elaine Paul, a Walt Disney Co. executive, as its chief financial officer.
Paul replaces Tom Fuelling, Hulu Chief Executive Officer Mike Hopkins said today in a blog post. Paul was involved in Disney’s original investment in Hulu in 2009 and was senior vice president of corporate strategy at Disney.
Hulu, which offers a free, ad-supported service and the $7.99-a-month Hulu Plus, with more shows available on more devices, is owned by Disney, 21st Century Fox Inc. and Comcast Corp.’s NBCUniversal. Hopkins, a former Fox executive, was named CEO of Hulu last week.
