Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Gamesa Corp. Tecnologica SA, Spain’s largest wind-turbine maker, will supply 202 megawatts of equipment to Iberdrola SA for a wind farm in South Texas.
Gamesa plans to deliver the 101 2-megawatt turbines to the Baffin wind project by mid-2014, the Zamudio-based manufacturer said today in a statement on its website. The wind farm is expected to be generating power by the end of next year.
Terms of the sale to Spain’s largest utility were not disclosed.
