Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Brown University reported a 12.6 percent return on its investments in the 12 months ended in June, up from a 1 percent gain a year earlier.
The endowment’s value grew to $2.86 billion, the Ivy League school in Providence, Rhode Island, said today in a statement. Foundations and endowments had a one-year median return of 11.28 percent in the most recent fiscal year, up from an increase of 0.38 percent in the prior year, Wilshire Associates said in an Aug. 6 report.
