Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- SunPower Corp., the second-largest U.S. solar manufacturer by market value, agreed to supply 69 megawatts of panels to Shimizu Corp. for a power plant in northern Japan. Terms weren’t disclosed.

The panels will be installed at Eurus Energy Holding Corp.’s project in Aomori prefecture. The facility is expected to begin producing power in the second half of 2015, San Jose, California-based SunPower and Tokyo-based Shimizu said in a joint statement yesterday.

SunPower was little changed at $26.16 at the close in New York.

First Solar Corp. is the largest U.S. solar manufacturer.
