Sept. 4 (Bloomberg) -- HSBC Holdings Plc, Europe’s biggest bank, named Florian Fautz as global head of mergers and acquisitions.
Fautz, currently in charge of advisory for Germany, will start his new job “in the near future,” Jezz Farr, a spokesman for the London-based bank, said today. He’s filling the role of Alain Renaud, who is on sabbatical, and will report to Spencer Lake, the head of capital financing.
Fautz joined HSBC in 2007 after working at Dresdner Kleinwort. Reuters reported the appointment yesterday.
