Aug. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Tiger Woods, Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker, the top three players in the U.S. PGA Tour’s season-long points race, will begin the first round of the Barclays tournament Aug. 22 at 8:16 a.m. New York time.

After the opening round, the threesome will tee off in the tournament’s second round the next day at 1:06 p.m. at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Woods, the winner of five PGA Tour events this season, holds a 766-point lead over Kuchar in the standings for the FedEx Cup title. Kuchar is 75 points in front of Snedeker, the winner of the 2012 title and its $10 million bonus.

Snedeker, 32, secured last year’s title with a 2-under-par 68 in the final round of the Tour Championship in Atlanta for a three-shot win over England’s Justin Rose.

Woods, a two-time winner of the FedEx Cup, finished third in last year’s standings after entering the four final playoff events in second place behind Rory McIlroy.

Masters Tournament winner Adam Scott will play with 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and Boo Weekley at the Barclays, beginning their first round at 12:55 p.m.

PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner will tee off at 7:54 a.m. with Kevin Streelman and Australia’s Jason Day. They will be followed by Rose, the U.S. Open winner, in a threesome with 20-year-old Jordan Spieth and Sweden’s Henrik Stenson. British Open winner Phil Mickelson will tee off at 1:06 p.m. with Bill Haas and Billy Horschel.

The PGA Tour’s playoffs will conclude at the Tour Championship in Atlanta on Sept. 22.
