Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese stock futures fell after the central bank issued a policy statement.
Nikkei 225 Stock Average futures traded in Singapore climbed 0.6 percent to 13,940 as of 11:59 a.m. in Tokyo. Before the Bank of Japan announcement, the Nikkei 225 advanced 0.7 percent to 13,926.22 at the trading break in Tokyo. The broader Topix index added 0.4 percent to 1,159.38.
