July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Two British tourists and their Russian interpreter were killed in a helicopter accident in the Murmansk region, Russia’s Investigative Committee said.

The Britons, both born in 1944, and the interpreter, born in 1960, died during an emergency landing at the Rynda River in the region, the committee said on its website today. It didn’t give any other information about the tourists. The helicopter’s pilot was injured, the committee said.

Murmansk is located more than 900 miles (about 1,500 kilometers) northwest of Moscow.
