July 17 (Bloomberg) -- Output rose by 89,000 b/d in the seven days ended July 12, the Energy Information Administration said. * U.S. pumped 7.49m b/d last week NOTE: Fracking and horizontal drilling boosted output from shale formations including the Bakken in North Dakota and the Eagle Ford in Texas. The U.S. met 89% of its own energy needs in March, the highest monthly rate since April 1986.
