July 11 (Bloomberg) -- Trina Solar Ltd., the third-biggest module maker, supplied 7 megawatts of panels to Ikaros Solar NV for a project at a U.K. farm.
Closely held Ikaros is developing the solar plant in the town of Abingdon, about 65 miles (104 kilometers) west of London, according to a statement today from Changzhou, China-based Trina. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. and Suntech Power Holdings Co. were the biggest solar-panel producers by shipments last year.
