July 4 (Bloomberg) -- Dwight Howard may end speculation about which National Basketball Association team he’ll sign with by tomorrow, ESPN reported, citing a person close to the talks.
The 27-year-old could opt to return to the Los Angeles Lakers or move to the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors or Atlanta Hawks, ESPN said.
Seven-time All-Star and three-time NBA defensive player of the year Howard is regarded as the top free agent available this offseason.
The 6-foot-11 center has averaged 18.3 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots a game during his nine-year career.
