July 3 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Razgulay Group said good weather means the Russian farm operator expects to meet its targets for grain production this year.
Razgulay completed barley harvesting in the North-Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts and reaped more than 61 percent of winter wheat from fields in Krasnodar region. The company has also started harvesting winter wheat in the central Belgorod region and will begin reaping crops in the black-earth and Volga areas this month, Razgulay said on its website yesterday.
The company operates 400,000 hectares (988,000 acres) of land in Russia, with 240,000 hectares under crop this year including wheat, barley, sugar beet, rice, soya bean and sunflower, according to company data.
