July 1 (Bloomberg) -- Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social, Brazil’s development bank, will loan two units of CAB Ambiental 35.7 million reais ($16.1 million) for sanitation projects in Sao Paulo state.
Aguas de Andradina will receive 27 million reais and use part of the funds to expand sewage collection and treatment infrastructure in the city of Andradina, the Rio de Janeiro-based lender said today on its website. The company expects to treat all of the city’s sewage by 2015, up from 8 percent last year.
Aguas de Castilho will use the remainder to extend sewage collection and treatment services to the entire city of Castilho by 2015, according to the statement.
