June 28 (Bloomberg) -- Vestas Wind Systems A/S won an 87-megawatt wind turbine order in the Philippines, the company said today in a statement to the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
The order from Energy Development Corp. is for 29 V90 3-megawatt turbines, with delivery starting in the last quarter of this year and commissioning of the plant taking place in the second half of 2014, the Aarhus, Denmark-based company said. The agreement includes a 10-year servicing contract, the company said.
