June 3 (Bloomberg) -- Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz, who started on the job today, will testify at a parliamentary committee on June 6.
Poloz will appear at the House of Commons Finance Committee at 8:45 a.m. in Ottawa and testify for about two hours, according to a notice on the central bank’s website.
Poloz was named the new governor on May 2 to replace Mark Carney, who left to take over the Bank of England. Poloz, 57, was chief executive officer of Export Development Canada, a government trade financing agency.
