Toronto Mayor Ford Says He’s Not an Addict, Denies Cocaine Use

May 24 (Bloomberg) -- Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he is not an addict and denies using crack cocaine.

“I do not use crack cocaine,” Ford told reporters at city hall today. “Nor am I an addict of crack cocaine.”

The Toronto Star newspaper said on May 16 two of its reporters watched a cellphone video allegedly showing Ford smoking from a crack cocaine pipe. Ford said he can’t comment on a video he hasn’t seen.
