In tonight’s games, the New York Rangers open their Eastern Conference best-of-seven series at the Boston Bruins and the host Los Angeles Kings will try to extend their lead to 2-0 over the San Jose Sharks.

Marian Hossa scored midway through the first period last night for the Blackhawks and Johnny Oduya, Marcus Kruger and Patrick Sharp added three goals in a little more than 11 minutes of the final period at United Center in Chicago.
