April 29 (Bloomberg) -- Greenbriar Capital Corp., a Canadian real-estate and energy developer, formed a joint venture with Alterra Power Corp. to develop 100 megawatts of solar projects in Puerto Rico.
Greenbriar and Alterra each own 50 percent of AG Solar One, which will sell electricity to the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, according to a statement today from the Vancouver-based companies.
AG Solar One may pursue additional renewable-energy projects in the future.
