April 25 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine exported 1.56 million metric tons of grain in March according to preliminary figures, UkrAgroConsult said.
Shipments included 1.47 million tons of corn, 64,800 tons of wheat and 16,700 tons of barley, the Kiev-based researcher said today in an e-mailed statement.
Wheat deliveries so far in the current marketing season begun July 1 jumped 66 percent from a year earlier to 6.3 million tons, according to UkrAgroConsult. Shipments of barley rose to 2.05 million tons from 1.98 million tons, it said.
