Sudan and South Sudan Agree to Open Eight Border Crossings

April 23 (Bloomberg) -- Agreement signed in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, by 2 countries’ representatives, African Union says in e-mailed statement. *2 other crossings to be opened during “second phase”: agreement *Joint committee to hold next meeting in South Sudan’s capital, Juba, on May 22 *NOTE: The two nations are making post-secession arrangements after South Sudan gained independence from Sudan in July 2011
