April 22 (Bloomberg) -- Standard Chartered Plc, the U.K. lender that gets most of its profit from emerging markets, appointed Ben Constable as head of loan syndicate and distribution for Europe and Africa.
Constable, who worked for the bank’s loan syndication unit in South Asia, replaces Chris Sutcliffe, the London-based lender said in an e-mailed statement. Sutcliffe is now regional head of loan syndications for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, as well as global head of project finance syndications.
Constable will report to Justin Crane, global head of loan syndicate and distribution, and Hiren Singharay, head of loan syndications for Europe and Africa, said the bank.
