April 12 (Bloomberg) -- Henderson Group Plc, a U.K.-based investment firm that manages 65.7 billion pounds ($101 billion), said Chief Financial Officer Shirley Garrood is retiring.
Garrood will give up her CFO role and step down as a director on July 1 after 12 years with the firm, London-based Henderson said in a statement today. She will be replaced by Roger Thompson, who was previously global chief operating officer of the investment-management business at JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s asset-management unit, it said.
Garrood will stay at the company through March 2014 to enable a “smooth transition” and finish projects the company is working on, Henderson Chairman Rupert Pennant-Rea said in the statement.
