Russia to Lift Customs on Serbia-Made Fiat Cars, Tanjug Says

April 11 (Bloomberg) -- Russia’s President Vladimir Putin promised to allow customs-free sale of a limited number of cars made in the Balkan country, Tanjug newswire reported, citing Serbia’s Premier Ivica Dacic.

The agreement, reached during Dacic’s visit to Moscow, would initially allow an annual quota of not more than 10,000 vehicles made in Serbia, where the sole carmaker is Fiat Automobili Srbija, a joint venture of Fiat SpA and the government, producing 500L compact wagons.
