April 9 (Bloomberg) -- Everton defender and captain Phil Neville will leave the club this summer after eight years.
“I want to continue to play at the top level as long as I physically can, and will be weighing up my options before making a decision on my next move,” Neville, 36, said in a statement on the club website today.
Neville, who joined Everton from Manchester United in 2005, is a member of the coaching staff of England’s Under-21 team. He scored eight goals in 303 appearances for Everton.
