April 8 (Bloomberg) -- Compania Apa Brasov SA, a Romanian utility, awarded a 61.8 million-lei ($18 million) contract for water infrastructure upgrades in the central city of Brasov to the Spanish company Ocide Construccion SA.
The contract, initially estimated at 91.5 million lei, includes works on a water pipeline linking Brasov and neighboring Sacele, according to a notice on the European Union’s tender website. The utility received 23 bids, it said.
