April 6 (Bloomberg) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired catcher Ramon Hernandez from the Colorado Rockies for pitcher Aaron Harang, the Major League Baseball team said in a statement.
Hernandez, 36, batted .217 with five home runs and 28 runs batted in over 52 games for Colorado last season. He has a .264 average, 166 homers and 751 RBI over 14 major-league seasons with four teams.
Harang, a 34-year-old right-hander, was 10-10 with a 3.61 earned run average in 31 starts with the Dodgers in 2012. He’s 105-104 with a 4.19 ERA in 11 seasons with four teams.
