April 4 (Bloomberg) -- Randstad Holding NV, the biggest Dutch staffing company, said it agreed to buy employment operations of USG People NV in six European nations, adding 434 million euros ($557 million) in annual revenue.
Randstad will acquire USG’s businesses in Spain, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria, the Diemen-based said in a statement today. The acquisition, financed with existing facilities, will bring in about 800 employees and 189 outlets, it said.
“This transaction offers Randstad an opportunity to increase the density of our network, which is important for reaching our strategic targets,” Chief Executive Officer Ben Noteboom said.
USG’s proceeds from the sale amount to 20 million euros, the Almere, Netherlands-based company said in a separate statement.
