March 29 (Bloomberg) -- Development Bank of Japan and five regional banks will provide a total 18 billion yen ($191 million) loan for a wind power project in western Japan.
The loan will be used to add 80 megawatts of capacity to the 15 megawatt wind farm in Mie prefecture operated by Aoyama-Kogen Wind Farm Co., the state-run bank said in a statement.
C-Tech Corp., a clean energy and telecommunications unit of Chubu Electric Power Co., owns 95.8 percent of Aoyama-Kogen.
DBJ and the Bank of Saga Ltd. provided a 3 billion yen loan for a 12 megawatt solar plant by a unit of NTT Facilities Inc. in Saga prefecture, DBJ said in a separate statement today. The plant will start operations at the end of June.
