March 22 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese investors were net sellers of foreign bonds during the week ended March 15 according to figures based on reports from designated major investors released by the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo.
Japanese investors sold 427.3 billion yen ($4.5 billion) in overseas bonds and notes, sold 537.1 billion yen in overseas stocks and bought 12.7 billion yen in overseas short term securities. That results in a total net sale of 951.6 billion yen.
Foreign investors sold 485.6 billion yen in Japanese bonds, bought 471.9 billion yen in stocks, and sold 442 billion yen in short term securities, resulting in a total net sale 455.7 billion yen.
