Serbia Expects to Pay $26 Million for Yugorosgaz Stake, NIN Says

March 20 (Bloomberg) -- Srbijagas JP, Serbia’s natural-gas monopoly, expects to pay 20 million euros ($26 million) to buy back a 25 percent stake in Yugorosgaz AD, its joint venture with Gazprom OAO, the NIN newspaper reported, citing Srbijagas’ chief.

The Serbian state-owned company would finance the purchase with a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and details of the transaction to restore Serbijagas’ 50 percent ownership in the venture may be agreed upon during a March 27 visit to Belgrade by Gazprom Chairman Alexei Miller, the newspaper quoted Serbijagas Chief Executive Officer Dusan Bajatovic as saying.
