March 18 (Bloomberg) -- Strabag AG, central Europe’s biggest builder, won a 30.9 million-lei ($9 million) contract to upgrade a water-treatment plant in Romania.
Local utility Vital SA awarded the contract after receiving five bids, according to a March 16 notice on the European Union’s tenders website. Vienna-based Strabag will upgrade infrastructure in the northwestern town of Sighetu Marmatiei.
