March 13 (Bloomberg) -- Bharat Petroleum Corp., India’s second-largest state refiner, bought 1 million barrels of Libyan El Sharara crude for loading in April from Total SA, said three traders who asked not to be identified because the information is confidential.
The Indian refiner paid about $1.85 a barrel more than Dated Brent for the crude cargo, two of the traders said.
Bharat Petroleum previously purchased about 1 million barrels each of the Nigerian Akpo, Angolan Nemba and Algerian Saharan Blend grades for loading in April, data compiled by Bloomberg show.
