Chelsea Beats Middlesbrough to Advance to F.A. Cup Quarterfinals

Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Defending champion Chelsea beat Middlesbrough 2-0 to set up a quarterfinal meeting with Manchester United in English soccer’s F.A. Cup.

Ramires and fellow midfielder Victor Moses scored second-half goals at the Riverside Stadium for Chelsea, which is seeking its fifth F.A. Cup title in seven seasons and eighth in total. The Blues will face record 11-time winner United at Old Trafford on March 10.

In the other quarterfinals, Everton hosts Wigan and Barnsley visits Manchester City on March 9, with Millwall hosting fellow Championship team Blackburn the following day.
