Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Colombia’s Director of Public Credit Maria Fernanda Suarez said today she’ll leave the finance ministry for “strictly personal reasons.”
Suarez said in a phone interview she doesn’t have a set date for her departure, and doesn’t know who will replace her at the ministry.
Before joining the finance ministry, Suarez, 38, was Chief Investment Officer at AFP Porvenir, Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores’ pension fund. She has also worked in the fixed income departments of Bank of America Corp., Citigroup Inc., ABN Amro, and Banco Santander SA.
