Joe Johnson’s Basket Gives Nets 113-111 Overtime Defeat of Bucks

Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Joe Johnson hit a basket with one second left in overtime to give the Brooklyn Nets their third straight win, a 113-111 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks in a National Basketball Association game.

Johnson hit a 3-pointer with one second left in regulation play last night to tie the game at 105-105 and force the overtime.

The Nets (32-22) are two games behind the first-place New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference’s five-team Atlantic Conference. The Bucks (26-26) are third in the five-team Central Division, 5 1/2 games behind the Indiana Pacers.

Johnson scored 24 points, while Brook Lopez and Deron Williams each added 19 for the Nets on their home court at Barclays Center.

Brandon Jennings scored 34 points, Ersan Ilyasova added 21 and Monta Ellis had 18 points for the Bucks.
