Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan and ESPN President John Skipper will be among the speakers when National Basketball Association executives meet in Houston today to examine the relationship between sports and the media.
Dick Costolo, the chief executive officer of Twitter Inc., the service that features 140-character status updates, will discuss the future of media, social networks and content distribution at the NBA’s 14th annual technology conference.
The program also includes a presentation by F. Michael Naderi, director of solar system exploration at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, on capturing, analyzing and transmitting high-resolution images from Mars, the NBA said in a news release.
Other speakers include Nathan Hubbard, the CEO of Ticketmaster; and Claude Ruibal, global head of sports content for Google Inc.
