Feb. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Dale Steyn took 11-60 in the match as South Africa beat Pakistan by 211 runs in the first cricket Test in Johannesburg.
Steyn had figures of 5-52 as Pakistan totaled 268 in its second innings, with captain Misbah-ul-Haq top scorer on 64. The visitors had collapsed to 49 all out in the first innings, with Steyn taking 6-8.
South Africa scored 253 and 275-3 declared, wicketkeeper AB de Villiers making 103 not out in the second innings and taking 11 catches in the match.
The hosts completed victory before lunch on the fourth day.
