Italy’s Vibac May Invest $68 Million in Serb Plant, Tanjug Says

Jan. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Vibac SpA, an Italian maker of packaging materials, may open a factory in Serbia with state incentives, Tanjug newswire reported, citing Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic after talks with the potential investor.

The Ticineto-based company may invest as much as 50 million euros ($68 million) in production of packaging films and carton sealants in the central Serbian town of Jagodina where the authorities are offering free construction land, subsidies for job creation and a 10-year tax break, according to the report.
