RCN Says Three Gran Tierra Workers Kidnapped in Colombia

Jan. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Guerrillas from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia or FARC kidnapped three contractors working for Gran Tierra Energy Inc. in Colombia’s Cauca province, RCN Radio said, citing a local government official.

Gran Tierra is a Calgary-based oil producer, with operations in Colombia and Argentina. The company has early stage exploration operations in Cauca, according to a presentation on their website.

Chief Executive Officer Dana Coffield declined to comment when contacted by phone.
