Jan. 25 (Bloomberg) -- Petroleos de Venezuela SA, the state oil company, is processing more than 790,000 barrels of crude oil at its Jose industrial complex in eastern Anzoategui state, the company said.
The Petromonagas upgrader is processing 158,000 barrels a day of crude, Petrocedeno 220,000 barrels a day and Petroanzoategui’s upgrader is processing its capacity at 160,000 barrels a day, PDVSA, as the company is known, said in an e-mailed statement.
The Sinovensa joint venture’s upgrader is processing 130,000 barrels a day of crude while Petropiar is processing 220,000 barrels a day. An upgrader converts heavy crude into lighter oil.
